Strategic Mobility Group, LLC’s Human Resources Department Evolution

Small but mighty, Strategic Mobility Group’s HR department of one manages it all.

SCHAUMBURG, IL – (July 26, 2016) – When Strategic Mobility Group (SMG3) decided to add Stacie Lamprecht, human resources manager, to the team in May of 2014, it could not have predicted the positive changes she had in store.

While only embarking on her third year at SMG3, Lamprecht has already implemented countless perks and benefits for the company. Sharing the vison of SMG3’s founders – Nancy Gorski, Nico Genet, and Eric Holmes – Lamprecht has managed to make SMG3 an employee-based company.

Most recently, Lamprecht unveiled an unlimited PTO (Paid Time Off) Policy, in which each employee is afforded the flexibility to take vacation, personal time, and time off for illness as necessary.

“The PTO policy was created so that employees may take time off and remain financially secure during their need for time off,” Lamprecht stated.

When employees are in the office, Lamprecht always makes sure they are comfortable on a regular basis; whether that is a formal onboarding process with weekly discussions, a more frequent review process to provide more timely feedback, or in the form of monthly employee satisfaction surveys.

“Our monthly employee surveys are like a performance review for our organization; knowing where we stand with employees empowers us to identify areas for improvement.”

Lamprecht continued, “Surveys identify staff priorities, showing us where we should focus our efforts to continue to make SMG3 a success.”

Lamprecht has also brought many local discounts to SMG3 employees through joining the Metra Commuter Program for those who travel to the Chicago office, partnerships with PNC Bank, Costco, and Xsport Fitness.

Additionally, Lamprecht arranges numerous training courses for employees to partake in throughout the year in efforts to further develop employees’ skills. Other perks at SMG3 include a paid day off for your birthday, a peer-to-peer recognition program, and pop-up events.
